Jennifer and Joseph’s intimate Shelter Island Wedding at Sunset Beach Hotel was such a beautiful event. From the nautical touches, to the Disney references, we loved every detail Jennifer and Joseph put put into their very special day. We are so honored to have been part of their very special day. Shelter Island Wedding |Sunset Beach Hotel

The day began at Sunset Beach Hotel, where Jennifer and Joseph started getting ready for the ceremony. This hotel is so adorable! It was the perfect setting for this Shelter Island Wedding. We love everything about the hotel, the white walls, nautical details, and the calming feeling the place gives. Sunset Beach Hotel was actually not going to open just yet, but opened early in order to host Jennifer’s wedding, when her previous Hamptons location had to cancel due to an emergency. Everything came out so perfect in this venue!
Our favorite part about their venue though, is the ride there. We were able to hop on a ferry and look at the gorgeous water views while we went to Shelter Island. It is such a unique way for guests to enjoy their way to the venue and truly have a magical experience.

The Details about this Shelter Island Wedding

We loved the combination of greens, pinks and white in this wedding’s color palette. It definitely made their wedding match the gorgeous location, while still feel romantic. Their invitations incorporated the green, and even included a map of Shelter Island, where Sunset Beach Hotel is located. They also included a lot of Disney references, like the quote on the groom’s jacket. In addition, they added plenty of personal touches, like a piece of Jennifer’s dad’s tie on the groom’s jacket and roses for Jennifer’s middle name. Every accessory was carefully chosen, from the bride’s dress that was made at the place Jennifer interned, to her beautiful matching Christian Louboutin shoes.

The Ceremony

The Ceremony took place at Our Lady of Isle Church at Shelter Island, just minutes away from Sunset Beach Hotel. It was intimate, with just a few of their close family and friends, and of course Jennifer’s dog Aurora. After the ceremony, they exchanged their sweet vows in front of the Virgin Mary Statue. It was so sweet, and the tears were everywhere!

The Reception at Sunset Beach

The sweet reception took place back at Sunset Beach Hotel, where Jennifer and Joseph entered with the guests throwing petals. Afterwards, they danced to a song performed on the guitar by one of Joseph’s close friends. The night ended with a sweet intimate dinner and cake. It was seriously, such a sweet and magical event to have captured.
