Where do we even begin with Victoria and Taylor’s engagement session at Lincoln Memorial? First of all, we absolutely love their chemistry. From the moment we started, it was clear that these two are the best of friends! We loved every second with them and had such an incredible morning.

Their fashion forward outfits were also amazing, and we always appreciate when our couples dress to the nines for their session. We wrapped up their session at the Riggs hotel, with some fun shots.

We’re so thankful for this amazing time spent with Victoria and Taylor. It was so hard to narrow only a few photos to share, but here are some of our favorites!

The Couple + Love Story

Victoria and Taylor met when they were 18 years old through a mutual friend. They also knew of each other, and occasionally would have casual conversation, but they never really moved past friends. However, when their friend got married, Taylor and Victoria spent the whole time at his “pre-wedding party” talking and the rest is history. Furthermore, as a couple they enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants and recipes. They also enjoy watching shows. Which really means Taylor watches the shows Victoria enjoys, even though he says they are bad. However, Victoria jokes that he knows everything happening and all the drama going on.

The Proposal

The proposal was private and intimate and happened at their home. Before they got to the hustle and bustle of bouncing back and forth between houses on Christmas Eve, Taylor and Victoria decided to open stockings. Victoria is a Christmas addict and had been trying to open stockings since December 1st, so of course she was super excited to open the stocking. As she open the stocking, she could tell Taylor was staring at her weirdly, but she didn’t know why until she pulled out the ring and he dropped to one knee.

Lincoln Memorial Engagement

We started this Lincoln memorial engagement session with Victoria and Taylor on an early Monday morning and were able to beat the crowds and the heat. Victoria wore a green dress and Taylor wore a suit. After having an amazing time at the Lincoln Memorial and surrounding areas, we then headed to the Riggs hotel for some fun and sexy shots. It was truly such a great time. We were also lucky to have Alyssa from B Astonished Events helping us with all the details and we couldn’t have had a better time. We truly cannot wait for their wedding next year!
