Hillside Estate Wedding

Ashley and Jonathan’s wedding at The Hillside Estate was filled with so many sweet moments that it was so hard to pick our favorites. From their gorgeous backdrop, to their matching shoes, beautiful details and obviously their gorgeous selves, it was a recipe for perfection. Can you believe it down-poured the entire day prior to their portraits? Even with the rain, it was a heart felt day filled with many memories and so much pretty! Scroll to view all the fun!

Rainy, Yet Lovely

People always ask us, what happens if it rains? We always like to stress that a joyful couple will make all the difference, and this wedding is a prime example of that. Ashley and Jonathan’s wedding started off with plenty of rain and even tornado warnings. However, you probably cannot even tell from their photos! They had an intimidate wedding with 40 of their closest family and friends and you could definitely feel the love in the room. Their ceremony was very sweet and sentimental, and we loved being able to capture their love. The party was so fun, and their getaway exit car made for fun night photos!

The Details at the Hillside Estate

We started off the day by creating beautiful flatlays of Ashley and Jonathan’s details, and these are probably one of our favorite flatlay photos to date! We absolutely love the “press for champagne” detail they provided, as well as the additional fabric from Ashley’s dress. This created a stunning backdrop for the flatlay photos. We always recommend our couples to give us as many personal details to photograph because it really helps create a personalized touch to their photos. Also, who doesn’t loved a matching pair of Loubotin shoes for their wedding day?
