A gorgeous spring like day in Dumbo NYC makes for an elegant bridal session. We absolutely love the dress designed by SAJA wedding dresses!
What do you do when you finally get a spring-like day at the end of February in NYC? Well, a bridal session in Dumbo of course! It was absolutely gorgeous out, and we just had to take advantage. Was it a bit windier than we would have liked? Yes. But, was it so much better than the weather we’ve experience lately? Double Yes! Although it was 50 degrees, the weather Sunday felt like going to a beach right after being in Antartica, just amazing. This meant tons of people were also out in NYC. The backdrop of the buildings is always amazing, and proves why its one of our favorite places to take pictures View the maternity session we had here back in December (here).
The dress provided by SAJA wedding was elegant and went perfect with the gorgeous scenery in Brooklyn New York. After we came back from the wedding session in Texas we had an extra dress from SAJA weddings, since we only had the chance to use one of the dresses (View Wedding Session here). It was so elegant, yet comfortable for any bride. We loved the vintage, chic look this wedding gave our bride. Also, Lynette from Angelo David Salon did an amazing job putting together the bride’s hair. We showed her the dress, and hair piece and she pretty much took our vision and ran with it. Working with her is always amazing, and we truly love how she goes above an beyond every time. Check out her work from a previous session we had with her (here). As for the bouquet, it was a do-it yourself project we couldn’t resist doing for the occasion. We’ll probably have to blog about that soon because the bouquet came out beautiful. Nonetheless, this was an awesome Sunday afternoon, and we are so thankful for the vendors that helped us put this together.
