As wedding story tellers we get to travel the world to document weddings. One of our favorite places is the Dominican Republic. Our families are both from the Dominican Republic and spend a lot of our summers and vacations is this beautiful tropical heaven. Being a Dominican Republic wedding photographer is one of the things we enjoy because it allow us to spend time in this beautiful country.
About Altos de Chavon:
Altos de Chavón is a beautiful replica of a 16th century Mediterranean village in the heart of the Dominican countryside. This masterpiece was meticulously designed by Dominican architect, Jose Antonio Caro, and Italian master designer and cinematographer, Roberto Coppa. Altos de Chavon is a place that screams beauty and art. As a Dominican Republic Wedding Photographer this is one of our favorite locations to document love.
About the couple:
Alyssa and Pierson are the sweetest couple. They are newly weds and while enjoying the Dominican Republic were able to get some fine art photos done in this beautiful location.
How did you two meet?
We met in college at a social, Pierson was a senior and I was a sophomore. We went bowling at the end of the night and never stopped talking after that!
What is your proposal story?
Pierson proposed on our 3rd dating anniversary. He somehow pulled it off without giving even the slightest hint of what was going on because he was “making up for missing the last year”. We went strawberry picking in the morning and had a dinner reservation that night but he surprised me with a cute little boat ride in between. It was just the two of us, and exactly what I would have wanted. He coordinated both of our families coming to Tampa so we could celebrate right after.
