Olivia and Jack’s Winspear Opera House engagement session is what our dreams are made out of. We don’t know if it’s possible to love a session even more! Olivia and Jack were so sweet and so fun in their Dallas engagement session that you can’t even tell it was almost 100 degrees in the fall! We are so excited to celebrate with them next spring at the Thompson Hotel Dallas with the fabulous Alice and Apricot team. For now we will continue obsessing over these photos

Their Love Story

The day was March 6th, 2021, and Jake was at DFW Airport’s Gate B34 about to hop on a flight to Panama City Beach, FL. Then, he caught a glimpse of Olivia for the first time walking down the terminal with friends. Next, he boarded and grabbed his seat, 6A. Shortly after that, Olivia sat right next to Jake in 6C, both of them in face masks. He spent about five or so minutes trying to figure out what to say to her first, and in the most creative fashion asked, “Are you going on Spring Break?”.

Then , she replied and soon he figured out that they we were both seniors in college, moving to Dallas, and starting their careers in commercial real estate. They chatted it up the whole flight, takeoff to landing. At the end, Jake asked for her number and asked her if she wanted to go out when they both got back to Dallas. A week later, they did exactly that. However, the date lasted much longer than either of them expected.

All evening, they zipped around Dallas to more than several spots. Turns out, that was the first of many dates, with many more to come. Olivia connected with Jake’s family instantly, particularly his sister Abby, which made Jake fall in love with her even faster. His closest friends love her just as much. After two years, they are still making great, wonderful memories every single day.

They both LOVE all things Dallas and they love going out for dinner and drinks! They also love to walk the Katy Trail and spend time with their friends and family. Traveling is one of their favorite things to do together too… after all, they do love flying together since they met on an airplane!

The Proposal

Jack asked Olivia to marry him on the back porch of his family home in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. They celebrated with a beautiful dinner at home with their families right after. It was the best day!

The Winspear Opera House Engagement Session

This Winspear Opera house engagement session was nothing but perfection. Right in the heart of Dallas, it was the perfect location to capture Olivia and Jack’s love for Dallas. Even though it was well over 100 degrees, Jack and Olivia looked incredible. We absolutely adore the white jump suit and dress Olivia wore. In addition, Jack looks incredible in his suit. These photos are fun, but classic and capture their personalities so well!
