Nothing sweeter than being in Paris and doing your engagement session with the love of your life. Firstly, each look and each smile was a reflection of the love that Emma and Luke have for each other. Here are a few of our favorite photos from this amazing session.

Their Love Story

Emma and Luke met through a mutual friend at the beginning of Covid lock down (literally 3 days before). Then, Luke moved in directly next door to Emma and they spent the rest of that spring and summer together almost every single day either working out in his garage, working from home together, or just watching movies and hanging out on their patios. However, the best part was that they kicked down a few slats in their shared fence so they could just walk into each others house anytime!

They love to travel together. Hence, this year they have gotten to explore so many new cities and countries together which has been so cool. In addition, they had their first international trip this year where they made sure to have a classic Paris engagement session! Furthermore, Luke is a huge fitness/heath guys so meal prepping together, working out together, going on walks together, brainstorming new fun healthy meals, that is all his major love language! They have recently started playing pickleball in the spring and quickly became obsessed. Hence, they’re so excited for it to cool down so they can start going again! 

Likewise, they’re pretty big movie people so anytime they have a movie marathon its always a good time. In addition, they have been camping a couple times together and really loved it.

The Proposal Story + Paris Engagement Session

Firstly, Emma actually found the ring right before they left for a beach trip with his family. They were very blessed to be able to go to Kiawah Island, SC with Luke’s family this summer. However, while they were there they went ring shopping (since she assumed they were getting engaged in Paris until they found the ring). After ring shopping, they went back to the beach house and she was out taking maternity photos for his sister. Then, he came up and asked if she wanted to get a photo of the two of them together on the beach. Of course she said yes and he suggested that he should go put on something nicer than a swimsuit. Next, when he came back he had on one of Emma’s favorite outfits of his and she immediately was like “omg this is happening now”!

So the photographer in her quickly changed the location of where we were taking said photo. When she turned around he was down on one knee with a big ole smile on his face! After this beautiful proposal and of course saying yes, 2 weeks later they left for Paris and had the most beautiful Paris engagement session!! 🙂
