The Couple

We had such a great time documenting this wedding. This couple was super sweet since the day we met them. They both had big smiles the whole day and this was very apparent on their wedding day. We absolutely fell in love with their story from the first day. Alexa and Ramiro met at the tender age of 14 at a church event where they locked eyes. Soon after this, everything fell into place and now they are living their happily ever after. Although the groom, Ramiro was away in Texas for a while, as he piloted for aerial photography, their relationship stayed strong, and it’s so apparent that they belong together. Their story is one that makes you tear up in the movies, and definitely made us a bit emotional as we documented it.

The Venue: The Swan Club

The Swan Club in Roslyn, NY was absolutely breath taking and had a beautiful garden view. It was by the water and was surrounded by swans, which the guest could feed (How awesome is that?) The weather that day was PERFECT, and led to some awesome outdoor moments for the guest and the couple. From the cocktail hour outside, to the garden photo session, everywhere you went you had a beautiful backdrop.

The Wedding Day

Alexa and Ramiro’s wedding day was filled with sweet moments, tears, but also so much fun. Their ceremony had everyone crying or smiling since their vows and rope tying ceremony was oh so sweet. However, once the party started there was nothing but fun. The couple finished their first dance with a fun coordinated dance to an up- beat rock and roll song. Then, Ramiro and his mother also performed a coordinated dance for the mother and son dance. After that, practically all the guests were on the dance floor having a good time. We definitely had an amazing time capturing this wedding and wish them the best in their life together!
