This Swan Club wedding in Long Island was such a gorgeous rustic, elegant wedding. We loved every part of it. View on the blog post here!
The Couple & Wedding
We already talked about how amazing and sweet this couple was in our previous blog post. View their must watch wedding video here! However, we have to highlight some of the gorgeous details from their day and post pictures to show for it now. This awesome couple really put together a wedding to remember!
Swan Club Wedding
As soon as we walked into the venue we were head over heals! Beautiful garden, a swan lake, gorgeous rooms, and a glass ceremony room. This was seriously a photographer’s dream! The weather was perfect on this April day and we were able to have a great time while taking gorgeous outdoor portraits. Also, the ceremony and reception rooms were intimate and beautiful.
The Rustic Details
This wedding was such a sweet wedding to capture. Before the wedding the bride had told us that practically all the details for the wedding, except for some of the floral work would be do-it-yourself. We were so excited since we absolutely love when our brides bring in their own sense of style. The overall theme for the wedding was rustic elegance, and Alexa and her family did a great job tackling this.
The Ceremony
The ceremony site had a beautiful arbor wrapped in white linen and a gorgeous arrangement of flowers as well as a wooden board with ropes that they would use in the ceremony. The ceremony was so sweet and the wrapping of the ropes was definitely unique and tear jerking.
The Reception
For the reception, the couple made sure that their rustic color pallet of neutrals and purple was well represented. They had wine bottles with flowers as the centerpieces, and had burlap covered bottles with bath salt for every guest. The most heart-warming gesture however, was the thank you note the bride and groom made for each of their guest on their table settings. While the wedding details were nonetheless carefully thought out, the party was also fun and incorporated their fun personality. Alexa and Ramiro stole the night with their fun first dance to classic rock and roll songs. This wedding was none the less fun and thoughtfully planned. We loved capturing every second of it!The Vendors
