Keller Texas Engagement Session

Sonya and Isaac are such a laid back, sweet couple and we had so much fun getting to know them and their love story. While, Sonya is a work friend of ours, getting to know her with her fiancé was super special. It is so clear that Isaac truly makes her heart happy and brings out a special smile on her face, and she does the same to him. We love how much they love the outdoors, fishing, and how much love they have for their dog Harper. Incorporating all of this in their photos was seriously so much fun!

Their Love story

Sonya and Isaac met online, but then discovered that they knew mutual people and actually attended the same church. It was clearly meant to be from the very start. On their first date at Olive Garden, they were both pleasantly surprised how well it went. They couldn’t believe how easy and natural it was to have a conversation. However, the the deal breaker was how much Sonya’s dog Harper loves Isaac too. She was able to meet Isaac on their first date, and even though at first she wasn’t too sure about him, now she completely adores him. Harper definitely stole our hearts in the session as well. She even “smiled” during pictures, and it created some of the cutest images we have ever taken.

Getting to Know Him

As Sonya got to know Isaac more and more, she was pleasantly surprised. The major thing that attracted her, was his faith in Christ. Isaac has had some difficult times in his life, but seeing how God has changed him, has made Sonya fall more in love. She also loves Isaac’s goofy side. For Sonya it was easy to enjoy spending time with him. So much that she finds herself always wanting to spend more and more time with him.

Getting to Know Her

For Isaac, getting to know Sonya was easy. He loves how relaxed and down to earth Sonya is. He also loves that she loves animals, being outside, fishing, and has a strong devotion to God. Her easy going, adventurous personality makes him love getting to know more of her every day.

The Proposal

Isaac popped the question on their vacation in Florida. They are both lovers of the water, so the beach scenery made the perfect backdrop. As they were leaving the board walk to go eat dinner, Isaac insisted to go for a walk on the beach. While Sonya was hesitant at first because she didn’t have the right shoes on, Isaac persuaded her to do it anyways.  Sonya claims they walked for a long time, that she even asked him how long they were going to walk for. He finally stopped and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. He was so nervous that he forgot everything he was going to say, but Sonya was still in tears. It was a definite yes! We can’t wait for their wedding, and to see how their incorporate their love story and personalities in their wedding!
