The Mommy-to-be’s Fashion

We had a lovely afternoon with Diana and Edwin at Central Park on Sunday. They were just lovely and joyful as we took pictures to capture their pregnancy.  The weather was absolutely perfect, and the park’s iconic areas in Bethesda Terrace and bow bridge never fail to make gorgeous images. As soon as we met up with them at the park, we could not get over how gorgeous her dress was! Even her second outfit was amazingly beautiful. Her make-up, done by the amazing April Anguiano put together her overall look and added to the beauty of this mama to be. We had previously worked with April in a wedding in August (View wedding here) and we we so thrilled to work with her again. On another note, we absolutely love when our clients put thought into their outfits, and this couple definitely did.  Their overall look was extremely fitting to the beautiful scenery in Central Park.

The Venue: Central Park

As, we walked around the park taking pictures, we had such a calming and fun afternoon. It was one of the first spring like days in NYC and everyone was enjoying the weather in the park. There were couples, and families, vendors, and food carts. A simply great day to be in the park. The only small issue with this was the crowdedness of the park. However, we were able to squeeze in times where the crowds were less, and were able to get images that were able to hide how crowded the park actually was that day. Never the less, we think waiting for the crowds to disappear was so worth it because the Bethesda Terrace at Central Park and bow bridge are breath-taking. The sun was glowing on the buildings, and piercing golden light through the trees (definitely a photographer’s dream). While we were picking pictures for the blog it was really hard to pick only a few because we loved them all. Here are some of our favorites:
